About

We were the customer first.

Sorellan & Kairoth is a private engineering lab. We design, build, and operate agentic systems for the offices that run real operations — and we build them the way people who have answered for the numbers would want them built.

The work is shaped by four seats we have actually held. We sat across the table as auditors. We owned the close, the controls, and the board number as finance leadership. We ran the operating company — not a slide about one — as operators and founders. And now we build the systems, as engineers.

That order matters. Most agentic systems are built by people who have never closed a month or signed a representation letter, so the controls arrive late and theoretical. Ours start from the controls — bounded autonomy, an immutable audit trail, policy-as-code, a kill switch that fails closed — because those are the things we would have demanded from the other side of the table.

How we work

By introduction, and in writing. There are no calls, no demos, no pilots-as-theater. We take a brief, return real thinking, and — when it fits — build the system and operate it. Client work is held in confidence; we do not trade on names.

On the name

A fuller account of Sorellan and Kairoth is in preparation, and will appear here when it is ready to be said well.
